THREE SWANS CQC REPORT JULY 2016

NHS PRESCRIBING SAVINGS

As you will be aware the NHS is currently under huge financial pressure and we are committed to making financial savings wherever safely possible.
NHS Wiltshire has identified that there are huge savings to be made by making small alterations to some of the medications we prescribe.  Some of the drugs we prescribe are made by many different companies and by switching to the cheapest brand available we can make significant savings for the NHS.
You may notice over the next few months that the names of some of the medications on your prescription look a little different (in particular if you are prescribed pregabalin, metformin, butrans or eye drops).  We would like to reassure you that you should notice no difference whatsoever in the effectiveness of your treatments as a result of any changes but should you have any concerns please do discuss with your pharmacist.
With many thanks for your understanding.

NHS ENGLAND LETTER

Please be aware you  may receive a letter from NHS England asking you to respond to them to let them know you are still living at your current address.

Please respond as if you do not you may be deducted from our patient register and have to re-register with us.

Thank you
